The battle of Novachrono and Licht (Painting Study)

When light and time comes in conflict. This scene really hit me hard when the writer finally decided to give away a piece of his/her story. So I decided to make this as the subject of my painting study to at least learn basic color palette and at least show a story in the simplest way possible *because I'm not good yet with all the basics.

The color palette used here is obvious and pretty basic blending. The shape of the clouds were pretty difficult to determine. Not too flat, and not too saturated. 2 brushes used. The cemented wall was an interesting study as well. Here I finally understood why red can give life to a character. blending it on the skin makes the face more becoming. The perspective was hard to determine as well. A bit of a flat on the hills and on the sky area. The light source is all over the place though but I reckon a bright afternoon.
